The TP-BT-PLUS Bluetooth optical probe by Tespro is created to efficiently and extensively communicate with meters, and uses both Classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy. It is based on a low-power Chip set and has a long battery life and rapid charging through a Type-C interface. Its IP54 protection and LED indicator as well as the ability to update via Bluetooth makes it reliable in its work under different conditions.

One of the largest Southeast Asian utility companies, based in Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines, had to deal with such challenges as the disjointed meter standards, the lack of effectiveness in in-premises data collection and the necessity to create system integration that is more specific to particular needs, which impeded smart energy management.
The company sought a flexible, developer-friendly solution to bring together its multi-type meter network and develop a customized energy monitoring platform that can serve the different regional requirements and simplify field operations.
It was finally broken with the TP-BT-Plus Bluetooth optical probe by Tespro which is a versatile and customizable one. It has BLE 5.4+SPP two-way communication, and it can operate with various international protocols, hence it is compatible with the electricity, water, and gas meters of the client.
