Product Introduction
Tespro China Fixture Bracket has recently released a new model called TP-GS3 which is an optical probe scanning tool that is used in attaching probe on the energy meters during accuracy test.It is an invention of Tespro China, and over 20 years they have invented some models.
Strong Compatibility
Mechanical/electronic meter works. Probe holder is compatible with any Tespro optical probe, 100 -180 mm of matching width. Cost - effective, can be used with different calibration optical probes.
High Insulation Material
Light material is also high insulated so that it is safe and easy to carry around avoiding electric shocks.
Matches All Meter Sizes
Precise any meter -mechanical/electronic, square/ round, big/small.
Excellent Performance in Harsh Environment
Operates effectively in adverse conditions. Light and portable, high insulation. Strong adsorption, is firmly attached to any meter surface. Wide, flexible application
Descriptions
Functional Description
- The suction cup connects the suction cup to the meter; the nut can be used to adjust TP-GS3. Can be easily disassembled.
- TP-GS3 has an ability to adsorb on any flat surface of meter and may be rotated at 360 degrees to suit various positions of communication or pulse port of meter and it is very flexible and convenient.
- TP-GS3 also accommodates all the communication and calibration optoelectronic heads of TP series, IEC square meters, ANSI cylindrical meters and mechanical meters.
- The substance of TP-GS3 is insulated and therefore it is safe and portable.

Reliable Optical Communication for Smart Metering
The current AMI systems demand the stability and correctness of measurement of data at the meter. Meter reading was tedious and prone to errors.
The optical probes of Tespro such as the TP-BT and USB series allowed automatic retrieval of data through optical ports, and they supported many brands and protocols of meters. Bluetooth and USB models were also flexible and could be used in the field as well as in the desktop.
Case
Product Case
The collection of data on meters in commercial buildings by a field service team of an energy auditing company presented special challenges in the access on a large number of electricity and thermal meters, many of them in tight spaces, at angles, on high shelves, and flat yet non-magnetic surfaces. Normal clamping attachments could hardly be attached to either rough or sloping materials and in positioning the probes to align with pulse ports, one had to position them in an awkward manner resulting in an unstable data collection process and a long time service duration.
The TP-GS3 Optical Probe Fixture of Tespro addressed these problems by using suction design. The fix is mounted to any flat meter surface with adjustable suction cups that clamp firmly to the surface forming a secure grip on the angled or elevated installations, no tools or hacks required. It is stabilized by means of the nut-adjusted suction force and it can be taken to pieces with a minimum amount of fuss.
The ability of the TP-GS3 to rotate 360deg (and hence) was essential, as it allowed the technicians to position the attached probe to fit precisely into pulse or communication ports, no matter the orientation of the meter. It accommodates all TP-series optoelectronic optoelectronic heads and can be used with mechanical, electronic, square, and cylindrical meters, without using special fixtures.
The TP-GS3 is lightweight and is made of insulating material that is easy to carry around and can be installed in small spaces or on the work at height. In meters that are in complex locations to install, it provided efficient and reliable data capture and made the audit process easier to follow and the results were standardized without affecting safety and efficiency.
