Product Introduction
TP-11 is an optical pulse acquisition and verification optical probe that was initially designed and produced by Tespro China. The device is typically applicable to pulse acquisition of electronic energy meters around the globe and is applicable to fulfill verification work along with verification equipment. TP-11 optical scanning probe has the capability of detecting both light and IR(Infrared) light pulses emitted by LED and convert it to electric pulses.
Strong Compatibility
It is highly compatible whereby the lights of various color and wavelength are identified and changed into electric pulses. It has multiple working and output voltages (3.3/5/12/24/36VDC) and has a variety of connectors.
Fixed Method
It has several fixed ways, which are useful in different situations such as high - positioned meters or mechanical meters of old fashion.
High Sensitivity
It is very sensitive with a minimum pulse width of 200ms and a maximum frequency of either 5kHz and above. It is able to detect various colors of light, does not have light-interference and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Excellent Performance in Harsh Environment
The optical probe is made of 100 percent PC material, which makes it very productive in extreme conditions such as summer sun or winter blizzards. It has high quality - notch enclosure material, a powerful magnet, and a soft and durable cable.

Reliable Optical Communication for Smart Metering
Modern AMI systems demand reliable and precise metrical-level capture of data. Reading of the meter was time consuming and subject to errors.
The TP-BT and USB series of optical probes brought out by Tespro also supported different metrers and allowed automatic data retrieval through optical ports. Flexibility was provided by Bluetooth and USB models both in the field and desktop.
Case
Product Case
The meter production company had efficiency problems with verification of production lines, current probes could not be made to work well with various calibration devices and needed a lot of adjustments and slowed down the pulse testing of energy meters. This posed a bottleneck in quality control of electricity and thermal meters production.
Tespro resolved this with TP-11 Calibration Optical Probe which adapts in a seamless manner to all kinds of verification tools, starting with high precision standard meter through on-site testing equipment. It was sensitive to light and IR pulses and this guaranteed it to convert them in electric pulses to facilitate good data capture.
Its built-in calibration sensors automatically adjusted to changes in the ambient light, which means that it makes real-time and accurate quality measurements. This plug-and-play solution reduced downtimes on reconfiguring the production lines and increased the efficiency of the verification process.
