Product Introduction
The TG-100 series industrial gateway is a streamlined industrial communication gateway introduced by Tespro, designed specifically for basic IoT access, industrial device networking, and building automation scenarios.
The TG-100 series supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless communication, and features one WAN port and one LAN port to facilitate both upstream network access and local device connectivity. Depending on project requirements, the device can be configured with RS485, RS233, or CAN field communication interfaces; it supports mainstream protocols such as Modbus, BACnet/IP, and BACnet/MSTP, thereby meeting application needs for field device access, data acquisition, and data uploading to platforms.

Flexible Network Access

The Tespro edge gateway did protocol conversion (DLMS/Modbus/MQTT) and it could serve various communication chips such as RS485, 4G, and Wi-Fi. It served as a local data collection and forwarding center.

Product Case
A regional facility management company deployed TG-100 industrial gateways in multiple commercial buildings, utility rooms and distributed equipment sites to build a unified remote monitoring system for energy and environmental data.
The TG-100 gateways were used to connect smart electricity meters, water meters, gas meters, heat meters, environmental sensors and PLC-based industrial equipment. Through optional RS485, RS232 or CAN field interfaces, the gateways collected data from different on-site devices and uploaded it to the customer’s cloud platform through 4G/5G cellular networks or Ethernet access.
With one WAN port and one LAN port, the TG-100 allowed engineers to separate upstream network communication from local device maintenance, making installation and commissioning more convenient. Its support for Modbus, BACnet/IP and BACnet/MSTP helped the customer integrate different field devices into one platform without replacing the existing equipment.
After deployment, the customer was able to monitor meter readings, equipment status, environmental data and alarm information in real time. The solution reduced manual inspection workload, improved maintenance response efficiency and provided a stable data foundation for smart energy management, equipment monitoring and building automation.
