Jul. 18, 2025 – A European smart city project client has purchased 5,000 TG-224 industrial gateways directly from Tespro, set to be deployed across urban energy management systems, IoT device networks in industrial parks, and remote infrastructure monitoring nodes.
The TG-224 gateways serve as the core connectivity hub for the client's multi-scenario IoT ecosystem, integrating data from electricity, water, and gas meters via interfaces, while linking industrial sensors and smart switches through GPIO ports.
Prior to adopting the TG-224, the client faced fragmented data collection, unreliable wireless connections, and incompatible device protocols, leading to delayed decision-making and high maintenance costs.
The gateways' industrial-grade IP65 protection and -40~+75℃ operating temperature range also address the harsh environmental challenges of outdoor and industrial site deployment.
Post-deployment, the client reported a 60% improvement in data transmission efficiency, with zero connection dropouts in extreme weather conditions. The client praised the TG-224 as a "reliable backbone" for their smart city infrastructure, noting its ability to bridge device gaps and deliver stable, actionable data for informed energy management decisions.
